Growing up, caramel apples were always a fall tradition in my family. But as I grew older and started making more plant-based meals, I wanted a dessert that captured the same flavors but in a more elegant form. This tart combines the best of both worlds—caramel apples and pie—without the hassle of making a pie crust.
